Cleverly toeing the road between stylish and timeless design, Tami Ramsey of Athens-based Material & Form has created this teen’s bed room to be stunning immediately and for years to come back.

The glad combo of inexperienced and blue for the bookcase (“Napa Vineyards” and “Poolside” by Benjamin Moore) was on room resident Isla Jane Eady’s Pinterest board.

One other star of the room is the eye-catching cover material by Claire Louise Frost (out there via the designer’s showroom), cheerfully coexisting with a whimsical animal pillow.

A swivel wicker chair from Perigold may be moved across the room.
Understated
The designer chosen a customized wool rug in a refined sample for the ground that underpins the room.
Spherical we go
“We needed to do one thing enjoyable with the bookcase, and that scalloped edge provides a particular dimension,” says Ramsey, who notes that the identical motif seems in Stray Canine Design’s scalloped sconce shade (painted a customized coloration).
Design tip: Embrace one thing previous and artisanal. On the mattress, a classic Kantha rug from Aloka House provides character.
