Moderator to meet religious and political leaders during London week

The Moderator of the Basic Meeting is in London this week to debate issues of mutual concern and curiosity to the Church with ecumenical and interfaith companions and representatives of political events.

The Rt Rev Dr Shaw Patterson was on the town yesterday with Principal Clerk Rev Fiona Smith and Ecumenical Officer Rev Dr John McPeak.

The moderator will attend a particular reception for non secular leaders hosted by Their Majesties Charles and Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace through the week.
