Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) was ousted by members of the Home Freedom Caucus on Monday. The choice comes after Congressman Chair Rep. Bob Goodes (R-Va.) final month endorsed Trump-backed main challenger John McGuire.
In accordance with Politico, Davidson was discovered to be “not in good standing” with the caucus. These are often members who don’t pay their dues or who are sometimes absent from conferences.
The vote to oust the congressman was reportedly 16-13, which means about 35 members of the Home Freedom Caucus didn’t attend the assembly or abstained from voting.
