When you like citrus desserts that are not overly candy, that is the cake for you. We made a basic yellow cake combine from our buddy Very Vera and added just a little orange extract to the combo. To complete we make this the wrong way up cake by including some candied oranges!

On floured parchment paper, sprinkle 1/2 TBSP sugar after which layer over oranges. Sprinkle remaining TBSP sugar over oranges. Put aside.

In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar collectively on medium velocity for five minutes or till gentle and fluffy.
