Division of Homeland Safety Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas struggled throughout an interview over the weekend when pressed in regards to the Biden administration’s repeated failures to safe the US-Mexico border.
Mayorkas was pressed arduous for his failure throughout an interview Sunday with Martha Raddatz on ABC Information’ “This Week” when Biden talked in regards to the border disaster.
Raddatz requested him about Biden’s government orders from final week that critics and specialists have broadly panned as “weak,” which comes after Biden beforehand claimed he couldn’t use government orders to repair the issue.

Raddatz later confirmed Mayorkas a clip of an interview he did with him in March 2021 through which Mayorkas mentioned on the time: “We have seen a variety of transfers previously. We all know easy methods to take care of it. Now we have a plan. We’re implementing our plan and we are going to succeed. That is what we’re doing. However one factor is obvious that it takes time. It is arduous, however we are able to do it. That is what we do and we are going to accomplish our mission.”
